Transformers Ranks Part 1

Ever wanted to know the Ranks given to Transformers. Did you think Prime was the only one? Think again. (Check out the list below, in highest position to lowest)

Magnus: was the absolute leader of the Autobots and, at first, sole bearer of the Matrix of Leadership. Later, Autobots were appointed the rank of Supreme Commander without having the Matrix passed down to them.

Prime: The Autobot leader is normally refered to as "Prime" or a higher status. According to Optimus Prime "Prime`s are not made, their born"

Minor: The lowest of the top three of the Autobots ranking.

Lord High Protector: is a military title, and Megatron oversaw the armies of Cybertron

Prime: The civilian and spiritual leader of Cybertron

Emperor of Destruction: refers to the highest-ranking member of the Decepticon, Predacon or Vehicon military. The Emperor of Destruction is the Supreme Commander of the entire race, bowing to no higher authority.

Leader of the Decepticons: the Decepticon leader is the strongest and smartest of their ranks. Unlike the Autobots, whose leader is called a Prime, the Decepticon leader has no "official name".

Sentinel Prime?

The name of the newest Transformers has been revealed, by a security gaurd. Sentinel Prime, a name used by both the famous predecessor of Optimus Prime who was killed by Megatron starting the war (War for Cybertron) and a member of the Cybertronian elite gaurd (Transformers Animated)

However with no official confirmation, unless you count a security gaurds words as official, there is still no proof that the firetruck is named Sentinel Prime.

The Transformers film franchise isn't known for being short on action scenes, and it seems the third installment is going to be more thrilling than ever. Judging by pictures of Josh Duhamel filming scenes in Chicago this week, Transformers 3 is going to be full of explosions, fight scenes and near-death experiences.

Duhamel, who plays Major William Lennox, a member of the United States Army Rangers, is seen protecting LaBeouf's stunt double as a huge explosion blows member of his team into the air and nearly claims Sam's life.

With the plot of the film slowly unravelling i believe this to be an attack from the Rransformers resistance groups who are well aware that Sam is the cause of the Transformers being on Earth thanks to the events of "Revenge Of The Fallen" and would probably want to kill him, in order to make the Transformers leave.

Transformers Fact File: Bumblebee

Bumblebee is voiced by Mark Ryan

Bumblebee is one of Optimus Prime's most trusted lieutenants. Although he is not the strongest or most powerful of the Autobots, Bumblebee more than makes up for this with a bottomless well of luck, determination and bravery. He would gladly give his life to protect others and stop the Decepticons.

Badly damaged in battle, Bumblebee lost the ability to speak verbally, though he can still communicate over inter-Autobot frequencies.

Now Bumblbee is the friend and protector of Sam Witwicky.

Decepticon Motormaster

Lifelong Transformers and tractor-trailer fan, Travis Lyon, combined his passions with a salvaged Kenworth K100E cab-over truck to bring Motormaster to life with the help of big-truck restoration experts at Worldwide Equipment in Abingdon, VA.

Motormaster roared to life on June 23rd 2009 and was on display for a week at the Abingdon Cinemall—just in time for the debut of the much-anticipated second Transformers movie, “Revenge of the Fallen.”

Unicron in TF3?

It appears that the planet-eating monstosity known as Unicron (Above in Planet mode) may feature in Transformers 3. Although their have been rumors on many websites about a large unknown robot being featured in the final scene`s, This is the first time it has been mentioned in a post as credible info.

"Supposedly, we also will be getting a look at Unicron which if done right, will be phenomenal"

Also Transformers 3 has been listed as number 10 in the top 10 most anticipated 2011 sequels on this website. Suprisingly this mentions preview footage of Unicron (Possibly from the ROTF extra`s)

"10. Transformers 3 A darker more introspective journey into the Transformers universe and their origins on Cybertron. There is also preview footage of the possibility of Unicron, the planet eater, in this sequel. In Movie Theaters:July 1, 2011"

Cyber sleuth?

A new transformers human charecter has been revealed. This time it is Alan Tudyk who has revealed a few details about his new Transformers 3 role:

"John Turturro’s character, who has been in the other two movies, Agent Simmons. I’m a fellow agent of his that is sort of his assistant and weapons expert, computer hacker, cyber sleuth"

Shockwave head revealed & new Soundwave

The main villain is finally here giving us his one-eyed evil glare, Shockwave. Accompanying him is Soundwave. Both of whom were spotted during filming in Chicago. There is still no news on the alt mode for Shockwave or whether Soundwave will acquire a earth mode.

Soundwave also has a slightly updated head with his visor proving to be retractable as many people theorised.

New Decepticon spotted

A new decepticon has been spotted under the disguise of an armored bank truck. You can check out all the images here. Who is this Decepticon, only time will tell...

Two video`s also show the new Decepticon (Below)

Wreckers roll-out!

The Wreckers (Symbol above) were an elite team on Cybertron led by the heroic Ultra Magnus in the G1 comics. The appearance of three beefed up Nascar cars (Left) has led to rumors of them being the wreckers.

To further add to this mystery a beefed up truck has been spotted on set with its hood ornament hidden. I personally believe this truck to be the Wrecker version of Ultra Magnus.

"Later on, during Shockwave's reign on Cybertron, the Wreckers were a small but elite task force of Autobots dedicated to keeping the peace wherever (and however) necessary" - Transformers wiki

This group of Wreckers was led by Ultra Magnus and included:
Twin twist
